What's New at the Library

Online Program Registration
Library cardholders can now sign up for programs online! It is simple and as easy as browsing our library catalog! All you need is your library card and these easy steps:

• Browse for library programs here.
• You can search by either keyword, or you can browse the EVENTS CALENDAR.
• Once you find a program you want to sign up for, select it.
• Access your library account by entering your library barcode number (the number on the back of your library card) and enter your password.
• If registering for Children's programs:  
• Enter the birth date of the child in the NOTE field. 
• If you are using a card that is not the child's, please enter the child's name along with birth date of your child. 
• Then select OK to confirm.
• You can then either browse for more programs or log out.
• If you have an email address on file with us, you will receive a confirmation email to that address.
• Please call the Library and speak to a Librarian about any problems you may have with this new system.

Museum Passes

The library now offers Museum Passes to Port Jefferson Free Library cardholders. The passes grant holders free access to selected museums, which include: The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, The Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum and Old Westbury Gardens. Video Games
The Children's department now has video games! Stop by and check out our collection of games for the Nintendo Wii console. Some titles available are: M & M Kart Racing, Tangled, Big Brain Academy, Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, and more.  Come and check out these new items today!
