Last days of Summer...

Although there are only a few more weeks of Summer left, we still have plenty of going on in the library! Take a look at some of our upcoming programs!

Lullabies & Bedtime Stories Around the World 
Monday, August 15 @ 7:00 PM
Families are invited to join us for an evening of bedtime stories and lullabies from around the globe. Registration is now open.

Time for Kids: Fish
Tuesday, August 16 @ 6:30 PM
Children, ages 18 months - 5 years with parent/caregiver, are invited to join A Time for Kids for stories, songs, creative movement and a fish craft! Registration is now open.

End of the Summer Reading Program 
The last day to record books, pick up prizes and receive certificates will be on Wednesday, August 17.The last official day of the Summer Reading Program will be on Thursday, August 18.


One World Many Animals
Thursday, August 18 @ 2:00 PM
Everyone who participated in the Summer Reading Program is invited to the Library for an afternoon with Jason Reilly of Green Meadows Farm. He will introduce us to his frogs, bugs and animals from around the world! He will have all kinds of special guests, including frogs, hedgehogs and lizards.. oh my! Registration for this program is not required.

Also look out for these great programs in late August!

Peter & the Wolf
Saturday, August 20 @ 2:00 PM
Children ages 5 - 9 years old are invited to come to the Library to explore the Russian story. We will listen to music, read the book and make a set of wolf nesting dolls to take home. Registration is now open.

Watermelon Time 
Monday, August 22 @ 6:30 PM
Children ages 5 - 8 years old are invited to join us for a story and craft about our favorite summertime fruit. Registration is now open.
Pinkalicious Pinktacular!
Wednesday, August 24 @ 3:30 PM
Kids ages 5 - 8 years old, do you suffer from Pinkilitis?! Join us as we read the book and make a pinktastic craft! Children are encouraged to come dressed in their prettiest pink! Please inform staff if your child has any food allergies.

Drop-in crafts
Saturday, September 3 @ 2:00 PM
Here is your last chance to stop by the Library and have some fun with our craft extras from the Summer. Registration is not required.
