The 2011 Summer Reading Program -One World, Many Stories
kicked off this afternoon with the extremely entertaining show by Magic Bob entitled
"Around the World! A Magical Journey to
Find a Lost Rabbit!"
Magic Bob asked the enthusiastic participants to help him travel the world to find his last pal, Thurston the Bunny. After crossing the globe, the fuzzy friend was found and a happy ending was assured. With its unique blend of magic, geography and fun, the show was a big hit with all who attended!

| A busy day in the Children's Room! |
In addition to the activity that the first day of SRP sign-up brings to the Children's Room, we also had over a dozen families take advantage of New York Life's Child ID program. Representatives provided patrons with free identification cards including a photo, digital fingerprints and other vital statistics which parents can carry in their wallets. Many thanks to John and Greg for providing this very important service to our patrons.
