Summer Reading Club Brochure!

Are you excited for this Summer?
Why not take a trip with us at the Port Jefferson Free Library as we travel the world with our Summer Reading Program 2011, One World, Many Stories!

Come celebrate with our kick off show, Around the World: A Magical Journey to Find a Lost Rabbit on Saturday, June 18 @ 2:00 PM. 

We also started registering for our Docksiders book discussion groups. 

Docksiders is recommended for strong readers entering 3rd & 4th Grade and there is a separate group for those entering 5th - 7th Grade. 

Entering 3rd - 4th Grade

Wednesdays starting June 29 - July 20 @ 7:00 PM   OR

Thursdays starting July 21 - August 11 @ 7:00 PM (Registration for this session is July 6 - 19)

Books we will be  be reading:

• War with Grandpa
• Soupy Saturdays with the Pain and the Great one
• Please Write in This Book
• Baseball Saved Us

Entering 5th - 7th Grade
Mondays starting June 27 - July 25 @ 7:00 PM

Books we will be reading:

• Surviving the Applewhites
• Al Capone Does My Shirts
• Be a Perfect Person in Just 3 Days
• Landry News

The first book to be read should be picked up at registration.
